Moro carrot soup for dogs – more than just a natural home remedy for diarrhoea

Moro carrot soup (also known as Moro soup) can be prepared with just a few ingredients and has been scientifically proven to be effective against diarrhoea.
In 2000, after 20 years of studies, a team of researchers discovered the reason for the effectiveness of Moro soup in the treatment of diarrhoea. The key to the effectiveness of Moro soup lies in the long cooking time, which leads to the formation of special sugar molecules, the so-called oligogalacturonic acids, which are not present in raw or briefly cooked carrots.
These oligogalacturonic acids are so similar to the receptors of the intestinal epithelium that pathogens such as Escherichia coli or Giardia dock onto them and are then excreted before they can cause any further damage.
Normally, these pathogens would settle in the gut and spread substances that make us ill, often necessitating the use of antibiotics.
The soothing soup is not only helpful for diarrhoea, but also for dogs with sensitive stomachs and digestive problems. It is also suitable for dogs that suffer from heartburn, as the carrot juice can neutralise excess stomach acid.
The antioxidants it contains, such as beta-carotene, also help to alleviate inflammation.
